Performance Marketing Analyst 

We’re looking for a Junior to mid-level Performance Marketing Analyst to work alongside the SEO Manager, Campaign Manager and Head of Performance creating monthly marketing reports, analysing varied datasets and aid in providing data and insights where required.

As a member of the Performance team, our Performance Marketing Analyst will be involved in a variety of tasks surrounding data gathering, reporting, marketing campaigns, SEO initiatives and website performance.

You’ll have a solid base knowledge of Excel, great analytical and reporting skills and skills in a myriad of digital tools and software and data extraction.

 

Objectives of this role

  • Aid in creating reports and dashboards to track metrics and key results of SEO, PPC and similar campaigns/projects
  • Work with the Performance team to setup tracking and collate data according to the requirements of the team

 

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Performance team in delivering campaigns and website optimisations that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Pull data from tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Google Analytics
  • Help build reports on SEO, PPC, Website and wider campaigns
  • Provide data and information from various sources (such as Google analytics, Data Studio, Google Ads, LinkedIn) as requested by team
  • Set up Google Tag manager tracking and GA events
  • Investigate trends in performance or patterns in data as required
  • Build audiences in LinkedIn based on campaign requirements
  • Maintain campaign and client reporting dashboards (Google Analytics, Data Studio and similar)
  • Monitor email campaign performance
  • Monitor keywords and page rankings
  • Research and recommend advertising platforms for campaigns where applicable
  • Monitor client website performance, key journeys and landing pages

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience of extracting data via Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
  • Use of Google Tag Manager
  • Excellent written communication and impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience with extracting data from SEO tool such Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
  • Foundation knowledge of paid media and PPC campaigns, working within LinkedIn Paid Ads, Google and Bing PPC and Display advertising, specifically around data exporting and manipulation in tools such of Excel
  • Understanding and interest in the digital landscape and data

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Have 1+ years’ Agency experience a bonus
  • Previous usage of Google Data Studio a bonus
  • Experience updating content in WordPress websites
  • Design / layout skills for report creation and data
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Pardot and HubSpot
