SEO Manager

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 DOE

We’re looking for an SEO Manager to work alongside our Campaign Manager, Head of Client Performance and wider Coda team in consulting on and delivering for campaigns, projects and assets that meet our client KPIs in search.

We’d like to hear from those who would like to work with a diverse portfolio of B2B clients based in the UK, Europe, and Americas, as well as be part of Coda’s transition to offering clients a complete, data-driven, content-led programme of measurable lead generation.

As a member of the Performance team, our SEO Manager will oversee and be hands on in delivering consultative work, strategies, content and more to aid client website and comms visibility. Supported by our Marketing Assistant and Marketing Performance Executive in capturing data and generating reports plus the wider Coda Studio team, you will lead on and support SEO based projects and conversations ultimately owned by our Account Management team.

You’ll have a solid base of SEO knowledge, best practice and growth opportunities and proactively identify trends in performance and engagement to ensure SEO is working hard to deliver for our clients and Coda.

Objectives of this role

  • Working alongside the Head of Client Performance to develop and implement SEO strategies and processes to drive rankings, organic traffic and conversions across our client websites
  • Aid in the building of standardised reporting that can be applied across projects and clients
  • Setting objectives and ascertaining actionable insights from campaigns and SEO projects
  • Working closely with Studio and Account Managers to deliver consultation and content plans which improve visibility on the content we create
  • Aid the Account Management team in delivering content and projects optimised for SEO
  • Grow SEO skills and understanding across the agency

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Performance team in delivering campaigns and website optimisations that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Add to or create briefs to be used by wider Coda team to deliver SEO optimised content
  • Review and audit websites alongside other members of the team
  • Mentor and work alongside our Marketing Performance Executive who aids SEO, campaign and website projects, data gathering and reporting
  • Hands on project management working with Studio resources to get content created and websites updated
  • Working closely with the campaign manager on scoping and delivering campaigns that return on investment
  • Bring meaningful insight to project and website performance data
  • Continually review and evaluate existing on-site content and suggesting data backed performance improvements
  • Point of contact and consultant on SEO requirements and opportunities in projects and campaigns
  • Representing Coda during client calls and meetings in regards to SEO
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving keyword page rankings
  • Delivering technical improvements through Dev team briefing
  • Monitor client website performance, key journeys and landing pages in relation to SEO
  • Keeping up to date with SEO trends, developments and industry news and reporting back suggestions and opportunities for growth to wider business

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven skills in delivering SEO processes and workflows that get results
  • Experience of using and managing a range of SEO tools and Google tools such as Data/Looker Studio, Anaytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console etc
  • Excellent written communication and impeccable attention to detail
  • Understanding and interest in the digital landscape and data
  • Excellent work ethic and self-management practices
  • Great communication skills, both face-to-face and written, including strong presentation skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Have 2+ years’ agency experience in SEO
  • Relevant qualifications in and around SEO
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Pardot and HubSpot
