Studio Traffic Manager

Salary: £24k

We are looking for a studio traffic manager to manage the day-to-day scheduling, management and delivery of Coda’s studio, ensuring our design, creative and content output is delivered on time and to the high standards our customers expect.

Highly organised, responsible, confident and empathetic, you’ll be a good communicator and a problem solver dedicated to keeping and improving our production processes and keeping the design team scheduled for the day ahead. You’ll be comfortable using a range of software systems that track and manage work from brief to delivery.

You’ll work with our Design Lead to ensure Coda’s creative quality follows a path of continuous improvement, as well as ensure our onrolling checking and proofing is as close to 100% as possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and set daily work for the studio team
  • Act as main point of contact for workloads for studio team
  • Schedule in/swap around lists around in order of priority
  • Utilise TeamGannt project planning and Harvest time tracking systems
  • Work with Coda Account Management on briefing/timelines
  • Forward plan week/month workload plans to meet client deadlines
  • Set up jobs across our server and systems, ensuring all link to one another
  • Allocate budget to jobs, as directed by Account Management team
  • Proof work before it leaves studio for client review
  • Understand client brand fundamentals, and work with style guides to check everything is aligned
  • Understanding client internal processes, and the systems they use, so Coda can best integrate with them
  • Coordinate studio meetings/weekly production meetings/end of day meetings
  • Overseeing server organisation
  • Managing document version numbers – ensuring versions are kept up to date, and old files stored
  • Attending creative meetings to ensure the studio team are aware of forthcoming project requirements
  • Work with head of studio to ensure projects progress efficiently and effectively, keeping track of the studio team
  • Ensure all work and proof files are uploaded to the server, and that processes are maintained to a single standard across hybrid working practices
  • Oversee closedown of completed projects
  • Collate completed projects for the month to share with the agency
  • Knowledge and understanding of the projects to avoid multiple rounds of amends
  • Help with Account Management month/creative reports

You will be:

  • An experienced, conscientious, and organised project manager, preferably familiar with agency environments
  • Proficient in learning and adopting software systems, and act as the agency advocate for their use
  • A flexible thinker, constantly evaluating process and identifying opportunities to improve productivity
  • Be a confident people manager, displaying the emotional intelligence needed to work with and set projects for a small team

You should also:

  • Demonstrate at least three years’ track record in an agency production or agency studio environment
  • Have a working knowledge of key software tools used by our team: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office
  • Have a good standard of English comprehension and grammar for proofing purposes (minimum A Level or equivalent)
